I'M A STEM ADVOCATE * TRAINER * EDUCATOR * MOTHER
With my wealth of real world experience, an MBA, and a Security IT degree, I am committed to creating and sustaining cultural change in the STEM community.
As the principal consultant for The STEM Broker, LLC, I present keynote speeches and public talks on education policies and practices, STEM stakeholder engagement, and equity for underserved communities.
I have strategically executed customized initiatives, programs, and events for organizations to meet their diversity and inclusion objectives while collaborating with urban communities and the nextgen workforce.
As Assistant Professor at the University of Saint Mary (Leavenworth, KS), I teach courses in Health Information Management (HIM), Computer Information Systems (CIS), and Cybersecurity.
For more than 20 years, I've had the unique opportunity to train clients across the US that include youths, young adults, and professionals in the military sector as an entrepreneur, while a military spouse, in higher education, and in the non-profit sector.
Currently, working on my 4th book "Diary of a STEM Black Woman" (2019).
I self-published three other books:

As a STEM Parent of three aspiring technologists, (2 daughters and 1 son), I actively coach and consistently engage them in their quest to be successful in their aspiring STEM careers.
